Capital Campaign to Revitalize the Elks Theatre and Building

Through its Main Street Program, the Greater Middletown (PA) Economic Development Corporation (GMEDC) is committed to revitalization and enhancement of the Elks Building and Theatre by re-establishing it as a cultural and performing arts destination, anchoring Middletown’s downtown district.  It is with this intent that GMEDC plans to embark on a $4,975,000 Capital Campaign in 2008. Currently, the Friends of the Elks Theatre, Inc. are interviewing members of the community to determine if the capital campaign is feasible. The Friends have retained the firm of NCS Group, LTD, formerly Nancy C. Sadis & Associates, to conduct this study. The success of the project will be based on support within the greater Middletown area and other corporate and foundation giving.
