Public Works Department

Hours: Mon-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Public Works department is responsible for the care and maintenance of most physical assets of the Borough, including streets, parks, stormwater facilities, the woody waste facility, the electric distribution system and Borough owned buildings and facilities.
Public works formerly also operated the Borough’s sewer and water systems. Since January, 2015, those systems are operated by United Water under the terms of a 50-year lease.
Public works Director Wilsbach is also the Borough’s loss control officer and serves as primary contact with contractors working on various projects in the Borough.
