Police Civil Service Commission

The Police Civil Service Commission conducts examinations for entry level police officer positions in the Borough's Police Department.  The Commission prepares and maintains a "Certified List of Eligible Candidates" from those tests.

The Civil Service Commission does not meet any set date, but rather meets as necessary to establish a new "Certified List of Eligible Candidates", to conduct examinations for promotions, or to hear appeals. Members to the Civil Service Commission are appointed by Borough Council to serve staggered six-year terms. The current members are:
