Middletown Public Library Board

The Library Board establishes the policies to govern the operation of the Middletown Public Library and works closely with the Head Librarian to keep abreast of the needs of the Library.

Members of the Library Board are appointed by Middletown Borough Council and serve staggered three-year terms. The current members of the Library Board are:

Ruth Shank, Chair (term expires 12/31/11)
Shirley Clouser, Vice Chair (term expires 12/31/12)
Lori McGarvey, Secretary (term expires 12/31/13)
Ray Thompson, Treasurer (term expires 12/31/11)
Nancy Taxweiler, Assistant Treasurer (term expires 12/31/13)
Maxine Dimeler (term expires 12/31/13)
Sandra Robbins  (term expires 12/31/12)

The Library Board meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 P.M. at the Middletown Public Library, 20 N. Catherine Street, Middletown, PA.
