The Highway/Property Department is located at Wilson and Grant Streets.
 
The Highway Department is responsible for the maintenance of Middletown Borough's twenty-six miles of streets and alleys, as well as general maintenance and up-keep of all Borough properties including all buildings, the municipal pool and Borough parks.

Specifically, Department workers see to the following areas:
  • cleaning, rehabilitation and repairing of streets and curbs
  • snow and leaf removal
  • maintenance of street and traffic signs
  • clean-up day at the Borough dumpster
  • woody waste
 


The Borough garage is also a part of the Highway/Property Department. The Certified Master Technician, Michael Goodling, is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspections of all Borough vehicles.

WOODY WASTE COLLECTION is the last Wednesday of each month. Call 948-3054 to schedule pick up. To obtain access to the facility, contact the Finance Office for a swipe card.
