All employment opportunities are posted through the Borough Manager's Office. To learn more, contact the Borough Secretary. Middletown’s workforce is mostly represented in collective bargaining by unions. The non-uniform personnel are represented by Teamsters Local #776. All union positions require priority given to internal candidates; current part time employees therefore have the best opportunity for filling open positions. To apply for a part time employment opportunity, visit the Administrative Office during regular business hours. Middletown is an equal opportunity employer.

Police Officers are selected using Civil Service Procedures that require scheduled testing and rank. Members of the Borough's Police Department are represented by the Middletown Police Association.
